Root Cant partition my SD for apps2SD =[

when i partition my SD to include an ext2 partition my phone does not boot, it gets to the white htc boot screen (phone is rooted using modaco rom) but doesn't boot.. it boots if just merely formatted but not when partitioned.. anyone know a solution? or maybe a windows program that can partition ext2?
 
Are you not trying to partition your SD Card in recovery?

Using Amon RA's recovery utility - creating a partition here worked fine for me, though be warned, it will format your SD card.
 
Remember, using the Amon_RA recovery is the easiest method, but it will only make an ext2 partition. You have to go back and upgrade it to ext3/4. Be sure to consult with the ROM Dev on if ext4 is supported. I keep mine ext3 to be safe and most compatible. :)
