Can't pay for apps!?

Whenever I try and purchase an app from the market it asks me to put in my card details but keeps saying there was an error.

I've done it about 4 times now but it keeps failing. I'm in the UK trying to pay on a Visa Debit card. The only option is to pay with a credit card, is that where the problem is? I'm not getting a credit card just to buy some apps for my phone! Surely there's another way??

Most likely failing because of verified by visa security check cant run.

Put your details into your google acct using a PC, then try buying from the phone?

Had similar with a play order once via my phone and it was VBV causing the fail.

Never asked for VBV since which is odd.

I had the same problem earlier today, had to update my details on the PC instead.

Yeah it seems like it has issues being set up on the handset. It's easy enough to do on the computer though, hardly an issue!

I just updated my account and it still wont let me by an app.
The card I'm using is Marster Card will this make a differance
