Help Can't play videos of any kind...

Hey guys, does anyone know what I need to do to be able to play videos of any kind on my ascend? I used to be able to play any videos I wanted on them but now I can't play anything at all. Running playfulmod CM 7.2 from September.
 
I use Mx video player with the arm v6 decoding pack, I don't have an ascend any more so i can't test the rom for you. Mx lets me play videos I couldn't before on my ascend as well as my admire and optimus.
