Help Can't Receive MMS

Someone just sent me an MMS message but I cannot receive it. In our conversation there isn't even any indication that I got a message from them. The way I know that I got 2 MMS from them is that both times my phone got a notification that said I did, but when I clicked it there's nothing there. I tried rebooting the phone but this didn't work.

Anyone know what the issue is?

Edit: Also, in case this is important, the person who sent me the MMS was on AT&T.
 
do you have GV installed???

do you see any "downloading" type message?
has this happened before? have you been able to receive MMS messages and receive them prior to today?
 
I do have google voice installed. But I don't see any "download" message. And this is the first time I'd been sent an MMS. I tried sending/receiving an MMS with my mom who's also on sprint shortly after I failed to get the one from AT&T and it worked fine with hers.
 
ok, so it could be an issue with the carriers. the message is traversing through two different and in compatible networks. there could be some inter-carrier delays going on.

if you have another friend on ATT, i would try.. or even TMO since they are also not directly compatible and need to go through several stages.

to me , it sounds like a delay with the carriers and not with your handset.

what you can do at this point, is a PRL and profile data reset and re attempt with your friend... and/or another person on one of those other networks..
 
So i sold my 3vo to a good freind at work when i bought the evo 4g lte and he cant send or recieve any pictures all of the sudden. he says it was working fine and he cant remeber changing any settings. He gets the error code when sending/recieving pictures. I searched the forum but coudlnt come up with anything. alittle help :) Thank you in advance
