I used to have a Samsung Galaxy S4 in which I used the Samsung Email app for my 3 email addresses. It worked great for years, then suddenly a few months ago, I was unable to reply to any emails. I could send and receive new emails, but not reply to any. Not sure about forwarding as I don't do that often. Then it eventually stopped working for sending and receiving new messages as well.
I figured it was because the phone was so old, and I was ready for an update anyway. So a couple of months ago I got a Samsung Galaxy A5. Using the same app - worked great initially. Now it is starting to do the same thing. Can still send and receive new messages, but cannot reply. Also with this one, if I receive a message with attachments, it won't always "load more" so that I am able to download the attachment.
I have searched the forum and found similar threads, but not exactly the same problem. For instance, I noticed most people were saying they get a loop of "loading messages" when they try to reply. My error is just a "sending failed". I did look at the fix suggested for that loading messages error anyway - just to see if it would solve my problem. But when I went into my Android System Webview app, I noticed it was disabled. I'm not sure if this might be the problem. Does it have to be enabled? And if so - the enable button is grayed out and I am unable to activate it. I'm really not very tech savvy, so just looking for any assistance please. Thank you.
