Root Can't run Bootloader

Hi, I can't seem to be able to get into bootloader to reflash my phone from a bootloop.

I just get the HTC splash and then the ROM loads up.
Can anybody help?

Pull the battery out and reinsert. hold volume down then press and hold the power button until the bootloader loads.

You may have to pull the battery a little longer. Pull the battery and with the battery out, press the power button to remove any stored juice. then reinsert the battery. hold volume down and power together until the bootloader loads.

Edit: Wooo my 300th post! :p

Thanks for the replies.
I'm pressing the volume up rocker and power button simultaneously like always.

It does not attempt to load bootloader but goes straight into the ROM.

I will try leaving my battery out for a while, but it seems to not work even if my phone has been sitting for a while which it has been doing a lot lately.

I'm pretty sure on my OV it was Power+VolUp and on many devices its that way. Give the guy a break, past experience and a little misinterpretation.

Glad its all fixed and squared away OP.
