Root Can't see all market apps.

Alright, I just got my Viewsonic Gtab today. I rooted it and installed VEGAn and I got everything working, mostly.

I got the market working, and have been able to locate most apps, but some (Facebook, for example) still do not show up in the market.

Somewhere in my travels I have read you can trick the market to show you all of the applications. Is that possible with the gtablet running vegan?

There is a market fix out there to utilize. I've seen where some needed to do it more than once.

Which version of VEGAn are you running? I recently switched to their gingerbread version, and the market works without having to do the fix.
 
I found that using titanium backup to wipe the data of Google service framework after doing the "market fix" but before the reboot worked better than trying the market fix a million times. After that I got Facebook and everything in the market.I tried the market fix 4 times before that and I never got all of the apps until I saw the titanium back up approach on another forum.
 
Everytime i rommed Gingerbread vegan it would sit at boot screen. So im running the 5.1.1 non gingerbread rom

ive been finding apks online and USB xfering them to my tablet for the meantime
 
glad it worked!

with regard to the VEGAn Gingeredition.. I know mine sat at that boot screen for a long time on the first boot, but eventually went through. I'm talking minutes.

good thing about ROMs is "to each his own" !
