Root Can't see External SD card

Hi

I've upgraded to 1.6.3.4 (by following the very usefull guide - cheers!) All seems to work BUT - doesn't seem to see my external 8 gig micro SD card that I've inserted.

When I go into "SD Card & Phone stiarage" the Total Space & available space say "unavaliable" and unmount & fromat are greyed out.

Is there anything I need to do? Should it be able to see it?

You should be able to see it. Any chance you can try a different SD card to see if that's the issue ?

Thanks for reply! - Turns out it just needed formatting, which I did on another phone. Works fine now - Ta

No problem. A lot of times people forget ( including myself ) that these things are mini computers and need to be treated as such.
