Can't see pics in gallery

Hi guys, i am using Lg Nexus 4. Pics which i download from gmail or yahoo are not visible in my gallery until i switch off my phone. when i switch it on then i can see the pics in "attachments" or "received files" folder in my gallery. every time i cannot do that to view my pics in gallery. is there any solution for this? help me please...

The images *should* be available immediately but everything is not always as it should be. After you've downloaded your images, try opening the gallery and then going to menu>refresh to see if it finds them. Alternately you can try downloading them to a different folder than the default. It could be that the folder where attachments are stored is not being scanned.

If that doesn't fix your problem, you could always try a different image viewing app, like QuickPic.

Thank you. but the "refresh" is not getting the pics in the gallery. may be i will try Quickpic
