Can't see SD Card in computer

I have an LG Optimus F6 with MetroPCS. I have installed a 32GC MicroSD in the phone. I can move apps to the sd card ok using Apps 2 SD. When I look at the phone on my computer, the only thing that shows up is the phone's Internal Storage but not the SD card. I know the phone recognzses the card as when I go into Settings > Storage, it shows the card storage as 29.31MB and Available 29.26GB.

How do I get the computer to see the SD Card?

What operating system is on your computer? What firmware is your phone on, 12b or 10i? Stock ROM or custom ROM? Are you selecting media transfer mode(mtp) and letting the driver install? Did you reboot after driver install? Just trying to gather as much info as possible so we can help you

Keep in mind, moving an app to sdcard standard functionality only moves the app's data to the sdcard FOLDER - that folder is still in internal memory and not your actual SD card which is /storage/external_SD - i.e. the move 2 SD regular functionality does nothing.

I had to select Media Sync (MPT) and all is well.
