Can't send international text from HD

Recently I have not been able to send international text messages. I have sent them before and never had problems, country code and numbers are both correct. I try to send and it comes up with a quick please wait message and loading sign that disappear in a matter of seconds, then nothing happens. Any ideas?

Edit: I have found out that it is my default sms app that isn't letting me send international sms. Is there a way of fixing this?

If, as it seems, it is the default SMS app that is not letting you send international test, have you considered trying another SMS app? At least that way, you could see if that allows you to send international texts - if this is the case, then you may have to contact your mobile carrier.

I currently use Go SMS and have found it pretty good (also, it is free - this was you are not loosing out on anything)!

Apparently selective texting/dialling from the stock app is a bug with Gingerbread; the only "fix" is to install a 3rd party app and this usually resolves it.
