Help 'can't send mail'

So I emailed myself a few pictures the other day and I received an error message saying 'can't send email, account settings are incorrect' in the notification bar. I send a test email from my phone to another email address and i got it just fine and I send an email to my phone and got it just fine as well.. The frustrating part is that I get that 'cant send email' notification every 30 minuntes and it sounds just like Im getting a text so its even more annoying and I cant stop it.
Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?

Nope, I'm just using the stock email program.

Have you tried removing the mail setup and remaking it? Maybe it has a bad setup?

I have the same problem--about 10 times a day-I get a notication saying "cannot send mail" I CAN send mail, but it bothers me having that pop up continuously. I did what it asked-I double checked my email address AND PASSWORD--I EVEN TOOK THE EMAIL ACCOUNT OFF MY PHONE AND PUT IT BACK ON-NOTHEING IS WORKING -I HAVE AN EVO

I've been having this problem with an AOL account since i upgraded to Froyo. My phones been down shit's creek since Froyo.
