I have a BLU studio 6.0 HD and everything was fine until I downloaded the new update, now I can't send/receive pic mail.

I have AT&T (cricket wireless) I contacted the makers of BLU phones and enclosed their reply

What it's telling you is to create a brand new APN profile so go to APN settings and tap the plus "+" symbol at the top (or menu, New) and enter the new settings they've linked you too.. Then tap the 3 dot menu at the too, hit "save" and select that new APN profile..
Have you tried that?
(name the APN whatever you want so you know which one to select)

The screenshots I posted are of my current APN, I'm not sure what I need to change to it

Contact Cricket tech support again. They can send the correct APN settings to your phone remotely. But you might have to act stupid, like you have no idea what an APN is to get them to do it.

And jeez, see if they send 21st century-type APN settings, you know, that include IPV6.

Funny thing....I tried to over ride settings myself and ended up having to go to cricket on my lunch hour to reconfigure my phone (which proved I'm not high tech phone savy) lol....they are the 1's that reset my APN to the screenshots I posted!!!

Like I said, have them send the correct settings to the phone remotely. Act stupid. Make them fix their pwn problem instead of pushing it poff on you.

Just an update... I contacted the makers of BLU phones and they said I have to wait for the next update that will fix my problem but they don't know when that is!!!! Ughhhh

Going back to KitKat is possible, but not simple. And then you're losing the advantages of Lollipop, which has been good for me. I would never consider going back to KitKat.

Let's make this work instead. Here's what I found for APN settings specifically for your phone on Cricket:

https://apn.gishan.net/settings/921_22_cricket_apn_settings_for_blu_studio_6.0_lte.php

As you can see, these settings are very different from the settings in your screenshots which you said a Cricket store rep entered. No surprise, there's very few people working in cellphone stores that actually know what they're doing.

Be sure to do as Blu said in the instructions they sent. Don't change existing settings, enter the settings in the link I gave as a new set, a new profile. If these settings don't work immediately try rebooting the phone before declaring another fail.

Let us here know if this works.

Just to be clear, I don't have a Blu phone or Cricket. So I can't check any of this. I just sent the settings I found for your phone on Cricket. But I think they're probably correct.

Anyway, in 'APN type' you enter:
default,mms,fota,hipri,supl
...by typing that in, correct? I don't understand what you mean you're not given those choices.

I appreciate u taking the time to help me!!!

Where you are able to type in the APN types......I can't. I only have the choices that show up on the pop up box as shown on last screenshot.

I didn't know it was a pick list. In the screenshot it looks like a fill in the blank kinda field.

Since that's what you have to work with, all I can suggest pick as many as you can and see if that works.

OK, 1 more question before I attempt this...do I need to delete the original Apn because even after I check box for new APN and reboot, it always seems to power back up on the original APN ....sorry I'm a pain, lol I'm soooo not a software specialist!!! But I'm learning
