Help Can't send text messages

Earlier today I was able to send out texts and receive texts, but around noon today I couldn't send any texts out. When I checked the message details it say -1 in the error line. I have tried turning the airplane mode on/off, turned the phone on/off, and tried taking the battery out for 30 seconds. Nothing is helping! I haven't added any apps in a while and just the other day I went through and deleted all my old texts so it's not like I am out of space. Does anybody have any idea what the problem could be??? Also, the phone is about 2 months old....and I am able to make phone calls, just no texts.
 
My Optimus V stopped sending or receiving SMS the other day until I pulled the battery and rebooted. However, I did not see that error message.
