Help Cant send textmessages?!

Everything is working perfectly fine on my new Desire HD, exept this annoying very important little thing: I cant send textmessages I can recieve them, but cant reply back. This is really really bad Anyone got any idea what this is? And If there is any tips and tricks out there to fix this?

I don't know what network you're using, but most offer to send SMS settings to your phone for you to make sure everything is working and configured properly. I had to do that a few times via T-Mobile's website when I could recieve but not send texts.

I had the same problem (with Orange) - I've been so used to O2's service which automatically registers users when they begin using the sim card, that i didn't realise I had to ring Orange up to activate my account! Woops
