Help Can't switch to ART?

Ok, so I'm trying to switch zv5 to ART runtime. Every time I do, it reboots, apparently fails to switch, and boots up still on dalvik. Any suggestions as to why this might be happening? I thought maybe I didn't have enough space for everything after conversion, but I have 50% of my system partition free, and a 50% of my internal storage free. Nothing on the SD card, no apps moved with l2sd or anything else. I don't want to have to do a factory reset or reinstall or anything if I don't have to.

OK. I've tested out a couple to the ROMs and was quite pleased with the performance, but there were some bugs that I couldn't work with so I was hoping running ART on KitKat would provide a similar experience.

I'm not the world's biggest Xposed expert (far from it lol) but is there anything in particular you want that you haven't found yet?

Or should I be asking, what bugs?

Which btw, no offense taken if it's too much to rehash ok. :)

Not having Xposed on ART isn't a huge deal. I was using it mainly for interface tweaks. I would like full 360 rotation, status bar clock and alarm hiding, and volume button reorientation though.

As for issues in Lollipop, no remote, it would randomly lose my contacts and various settings would keep flipping back to default. I was using Candy because I couldn't get LTE working on CM12, but I've got the APN fix now, so that might help that. The lack of remote was largely a deal breaker though. I use it constantly, and I don't expect anyone to make that a priority.

I was thinking about going back to dalvik and trying some optimized libraries I found, but I've got apps moved with l2sd and it would just be a hassle to get switched back.

I tried ART and didn't find noticeable speed difference. Benchmark test shows 5% better.
The biggest drawback is the storage usage. I had 1.1G free space on dalvik, but drop to 400MB switching to ART. At the end it just doesn't seem like an upgrade. So I went back to dalvik.

I didn't notice that big of a space loss switching over, and in my opinion, games run smoother and launch quicker on ART. It might not be a big statistical improvement, but my experience is better.

In my case, I *did* see a speed difference using Art, it benched slower.
Antutu Benchmark v5.6.1
I would lose about 1000 off the score, so I switched back to Dalvik
Dalvik - 18474
Art- 17xxx

But no bugs, used it for 3 months as Art
