Root Can't tether on MIUI

I'm having problems tethering with MIUI

I've tried barnacle, wifi tether for root, and open garden tether and none of them seem to work.

I can set up a wireless network on barnacle and wifi tether for root that my computer recognizes but whenever I connect it keeps trying to reconnect every so often and I can never go to any web pages.

Anyone else having problems and can offer any advice?
 
Tether : How can I share my network to the PC or other terminals?
Firmware of Android 2.2 and above support the sharing of mobile phones to other Internet terminal in the following method:
Go to "Settings" -> "System" -> "Share mobile network", you may choose to share the Internet connection by USB tethering or setting up portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
 
Barnacle was working for me on MIUI, just gotta make sure it has Superuser permissions and that your Wifi is turned off on the phone...
