Can't text a landline

Hi there

I am a T-mobile customer in the UK and have a Desire although the last part may be academic. If I put an o2 sim into my Desire and text my home landline, the text comes through. My wife is also on o2 and can text the landline. But whether I use my T-Mobile sim in the Desire, my old phone (Galaxy Europa) or my wifes phone - I cannot get a text to be received at home. If no sims in the one phone can text landline, its the phone. The fault follows the phone, regardless of sim inserted.

If one sim in any phone cannot text land lines, its the sim. The fault follows the sim.

You ruled out the phone by using a sim card from O2 and you identified it as the account/sim/provider as the "fault" followed the sim card. All you can do is talk to t-mob.

Hope this helps. Would be interesting to see what the actual reason is, so please let us know.

I guess this is my issue. It is really annoying, the only reason I am with T-Mobile is that I am a very low calls/text user, but I wanted a cheap data bolt-on, and T-mo do this for
