Okay so recently and all of a sudden I was unable to text a particular person on my contacts list. The message appears grey and has an exclamation point next to it with "failed" where "sent" would normally appear.
I've checked all the others posts re this and followed all the suggestions - deleted the thread, then deleted all the links to the contact (Facebook, google etc) , tried editing the number with + and without, renamed the contact & deleted the contact completely.
Thr only thing that came close to working was deleting and re-entering the contact. After doing this I was able to successfully send a text, but as soon as I got a reply I was unable to send back, getting the failed message again.
We are on the same carrier, I've checked her phone for blocking etc and I am still able to text all my other contacts without issue. I'm on stock OS 4.3, using the built in messaging.
Any help would be appreciated. TIA
