Help Can't transfer large files to 32gb card

I purchased a Sandisk 32gb MicroSDHC card Class 4. The problem I have is I can't transfer large (over 8 mb) files to it through the usb cable to the phone. It locks the phone up. The only way is to transfer with a card reader directly from the computer. Anyone else have this problem?

I think you purchased a fake SD card.
As I know, Sandisk haven't a 32GB MicroSDHC card class 4.

When I called SanDisk, they verified the card was real. It came in the Sandisk packaging and I purchased through Amazon, Blue Proton.

I dont think you can put files over 4gb on the card as it will be formatted as fat32, which has a 4gb limit.

Sorry, I can't post the results right now but I will later.

I formatted the card with a FAT32 file system. Could that be my problem?

Also, I find it works much better with a USB card reader then a SD card adapter. I transferred all my files with the USB reader. Most of the problems surface when I try to transfer files directly to the phone through the usb cable.

Should I reformat to NTSC?

Thanks for all the help. I'll post the error message later.

When I format the card with the Desire, does it do it as FAT32?
I have been having a similar problem as this with a 16GB Sandisk card, and I have been relying on the phone to do the format properly.

I am having a similar issue with a 16GB card (actually I have tried 3 different ones, all with the same problem), whether it is with USB connection, Bluetooth, Wifi, any large files (something over a Meg, but haven't really found the exact size) will cause the SD Card to un-mount. These are all Sandisk, Class 4 cards, from local retailers. They all work fine if I use them in a card reader attached to my computer (Mac OS X).
Any thoughts?
