Root Can't uninstall CPU Tuner!!!

I downloaded CPU Tuner yesterday for my EVO, anytime I overclocked it, my phone would keep rebooting to the point I had to do a battery pull and restore another ROM image! So I decided to uninstall it. Went to applications<manage applications<cpu tuner<uninstall. Said it was uninstalled successfully, rebooted my phone and it was still there! Now when I go to manage my applications to uninstall, it's no longer on the list! How do I get it off my phone? Thanks in advance.

Titanium Backup can uninstall programs. If you already have it, or want to install it, bring up the list of apps on your phone, click the CPU Tuner app (assuming it shows in the list) and click the uninstall button.

Alternately you could try reinstalling CPU Tuner from the market, and then uninstalling it from the market. Perhaps uninstalling that way would be a more complete uninstall.

You can try un-installing using Titanium Backup.
