That's what he means but read the posts in between this and where he posted.. Guy is a troll.. This factory resets your phone and you lose everything.. So far, if you have a phone manufactured after March or June of 2013 (can't recall exactly, but there is a date on the sticker under the battery generally), its encrypted and can't be unlocked.

Mine happens to be from March 17, 2013, but I too am having no luck unlocking it. I did manage to get CWM recovery on it, but ended up with the LG security error after trying to flash for the heck of it.
