Cant update Galaxy S2 via Kies

Hi guys

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 on T Mobile/EE UK but cant update via Kies. Its firmware is old as its on Gingerbread

How can I update it as the phone doesnt seem to qualify from the dummies guide

Heres the info

Jelly Bean has not been released as yet for EE/Orange/T-Mobile UK. However, you can flash JB as per #1.7 of the Jelly Bean update - Dummies Guide.

That is the JB, Android 4.1.2, release for XEU, so, yes.

Would you know if 4.1.2 has the stupid learning stock keyboard?

Also if I did update to 4.1.2 can I also go back to a later version?
