Can't update market to new version

I had the new version of the Market - didn't do anything to get it, it just 'appeared' -and it got 'stuck' updating a couple of apps so I cleared the cache and uninstalled updates but now I'm stuck with the old version of the market!

Any ideas, guys? How do I update back to the new version?

Ive tried a lot and i still dont have it wait..........yup still dont have it
I think you just have to wait for it to do it by its self.

all i had to do to get it was...clear cache, uninstall updates, and force stop, then wait 5 mins and go to market

Ive tried this multiple times with no success then again i never see an uninstall updates just clear cache and force stop.
