Help Can't update or download certain apps

First Angry Birds disappeared, so I tried reinstalling. Didn't work. Then my countdown app disappeared, can't reinstall that. Tried to update Shopsavvy, it won't update. Anyone else having these issues? Otherwise, I LOVE this phone.

Don't know if this will help at all, but I was having download/update issues a few weekends back. Initially thought it was a problem with Amazon's App Store (eventually discovered later that Android Market was having issues too), so tried uninstalling and reinstalling that, didn't work. Tried resetting the phone back to factory settings. Didn't work. Then I realized the only thing that didn't reset when I reset the phone was the contents of the SD card. So I backed that up to my PC, and just reformatted the card and started selectively reinstalling my apps from scratch.

Problem solved. That was two weeks ago, haven't had a recurrence of the problem, so assuming that there was something on the SD card that had gotten corrupted, and when I wiped the card, I wiped out the problem file, whatever it was.

Might be worth a try.

Gonna give that a try. Switched back temporarily to my Intercept so that maybe it will speed up getting the Froyo installed.
