Root cant update the OTA_Shooter_ICS_35_S_Sprint

so the new official update for the htc evo v 4g, it wont let me update it. i am able to download it but when ever i try to install it says E; filed to verify whole file signature i am rooted can ant one help me fix this

Are you s off?

I don't think you can update with a custom recovery, if you are s on. I may be wrong, but if you're still s on you may need to run the ruu to get the factory installed recovery, and then you can update.
