Can't update?

I can't get it either, tried everything. My take....totally ridiculous for any of us to have to go through this for a lousy update....that doesn't even fix anything on 4G, GPS lock, Battery life, or the sms bug! Keep your update VZW. It takes 2 months to roll out a BS update that many of us can't even get?

So if I understand you correctly, you're REALLY angry that you can't get an update that doesn't do anything anyways???

Gee... I can't imagine how angry you'd get if an update (say, Gingerbread) that actually DID do something was delayed....

Hate to tell you, but this is life in the Android world! It's how it's ALWAYS been... updates roll out, taking sometimes as long as two weeks to get to everyone.

They do that so that a.) if there are major problems, they haven't sent the update to everyone, and can stop it until the major problem is worked out, and b.) the technicians don't get swamped (I can hear you now if you DID get the update, and had an issue, and couldn't reach a tech, because many people had an issue and Verizon had sent the updates out to EVERYONE, without making sure it was error free... which updates often aren't)

I haven't received mine yet either, but so what? As YOU point out, it isn't like it's some major update anyways...:D

Yea at this point, it is what it is...last year Froyo 2.2 ruined my EVO. So I'm petty much gonna just sit tight and wait to see what happens.
