Can't upgrade beyond 7.006.01_COM_GEN1 (3.2)

I got my tablet about 10 days ago, and registered it about 5 or 6 days ago. I leave it on and plugged in every night with wifi on, and despite doing manual checks for updates all the time, I'm stuck on 7.006.01_COM_GEN1, which is 3.2, not 3.2.1 - it simply says no update is available. I called Acer support and they said I needed to just wait a little while more, but this update rolled out a long time ago. How long will I need to wait for the update, is this normal?

After reading through the whole thread that message came from, it looks as though I just need to wait, up to a few weeks even, and then it will sort itself out. Odd, but I can live with it. Thanks!
 
I can't get past 3.1. I keep downloading the file and then it says it's not valid after after trying to unzip it.
