Help Cant upgrade to gingerbread 2.3 :-(

hey guys!

I got my grey import HTC phone from orange poland, its got a logo of orange (telecom company at the back), although I use it with my vodafone SIM in czech republic (where i currently live)and it works just fine.
I have been trying to update my phone to gingerbread 2.3 without rooting it, just been clicking on software update button and it always says "your phone is up to date". Is it cuz my phone is locked with orange??

Anyone know what I should do to get the update??

Not sure when Orange in Poland are rolling out the update, you'd need to check their website/call them. HTC are rolling out to unbranded handsets and some network branded at the moment.

What is the software version?

yh im gna try and contact orange in poland and find out if i can get the update

This is a problem and if its orange branded that is why you cant update yet. Orange are still in testing with 2.3 at the moment and anyone with an orange branded phone is still waiting to upgrade. I guess all you can do is wait for the time being.
