cant view flash animation/video

Idk if this is the correct section to put this in, but anyway.

I cant view online flash animations and videos. I've tried several browsers including the default one, Chrome, Dolphin, and Firefox. Firefox told me "a plugin is required" but didn't give me the option to download said plugin. The others simply displayed a ? mark.

Device is a LG Optimus L9 and OS is 4.0.4 (ICS)

How do I fix this? My fav browser is Dolphin so that would be ideal but I'll use one of the others if I have to.

Sorry if this is a stupid question. I don't remember having this problem with my old Sidekick 4G. Thanks in advance!

You can download Flash 11.1 from Adobe's Archives. But if you need a newer one you're out of luck. Adobe themselves stopped developing Flash for mobile. So while flash for PC goes on advancing, Flash for mobiles get outdated.

I looked for a flash plugin in the play store, couldn't find one that was actually from Adobe, even an old version.

Is there an alternate free plugin from a developer other the Adobe that will let me view flash animation\video in a web browser, preferably Dolphin?

Yeah as chan says. You cant get it from playstore now. You have to sideload it meaning you have to go into your phones Security settings and check the Unknown Sources box then use the phones browser to find the file for flash, download and install it.
Safest place to download it from is the Adobe site, look for the Archive. Hopefuly someone has a link :D

Edit heres the link http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

Scroll down to archived android 4.0 versions and choose the top one

No problem man. Chrome doesnt do flash but Dolphin should be fine. Ive found that any vids that dont work on Dolphin will work on Firefox
