Root Capacitative Backlights Help?

Hello!
Clearly this is not how you spell capacitative or if that's even a word I have no clue... but um. The buttons, you know, the ones that are like the home and search and stuff. They have this shiny light. And they stay on on my phone. Even when screen is off.

I'm on Midnight Rom J. I hope this has nothing to do with it.

Anyways they don't turn off. Well sometimes they do. But it's just random. Other times, I can turn the screen on/off reboot several times, and the lights will not turn off. SO is there a setting I'm missing or I'm stupid or whatever please help!! THanks :)

Kernel tuner has this feature built in under Misc. You can turn it way down which is off or: From ADB type
echo 2 > /sys/devices/platform/leds-pm8058/leds/button-backlight/currents

and change the value to 1
