I have a problem on my capacitive buttons back and menu they work most of the time as long as i keep touching the screen or the buttons but after I don't touch the screen for a few seconds say 10 seconds, the capacitive buttons stops responding to touch and i have to like tap it a few times for it to respond again. this happens all the time even on CWM so im sure it's not on the rom since i've changed rom from 4.2.2 to 4.4.2 even using custom rom still same issue. I'm not sure if its a software bug but the "off state" for the sensitivity of the capacitive buttons seems to be not syncd with the screen. so is this just feature of samsung or bug or hardware issue?

If this is a hardware issue im gonna hve to replace my phone

Sense you didn't say what phone you have, I'll say it like this. Start with finding the latest Odin-able .tar and see if blowing everything out will fix it. On my phone, Sprint SGS3, there is a setting for how long the buttons stay on. You might have a kernel mismatch or something. If this doesn't lead you on the right path I would register and post in the forum of your phone.
