Help Captivate and email issues

2 Things I am having trouble with.

1. I have 2 hotmail account set up for my email. Since the last upgrade when I type and email and hit send it sends like normal, but when I go into my sent items and when the person recieves the email it is something totally different then I sent. Some days its job information some days its private facebook msgs and other days its online flyers. It doesnt happen everytime I send just off and on.

2. I am trying to set up an eastlink email and it will not let me get past the outgoing servers. It states it can not connect with servers. I have changed ports but nothing I seem to do work.

Any input would he greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing the exact same problem, it only recently started after I updated to 2.2. I thought about just deleting my email accounts and starting fresh but they are my google accounts and when I told it to delete my main account it said it was required by some applications and can only be deleted by restoring my phone to factory default. So I didn't try that heh. Pretty much at a loss atm and not inclined to send emails with my phone as there is no telling what someone may receive.

Ditto. Sometimes I receive emails from friends with nothing but an ad banner in the body. time to install a different email app.

There have been numerous problems with the default POP/IMAP email client in 2.1 (I had an email account just simply disappear one day) and probably in 2.2.

Which is why I use K-9 mail. It is the best POP/IMAP email client and totally free. I just wish they came up with a better logo/icon.

True...

But lately K-9 hasn't been the most stable for me either. When I delete an email in K-9 it used to delete on the server as well. Now it isn't doing that and I keep getting notifications.
