hmmm didn't have that problem

what samsung firmware was you running before? I had cjf6 i couldnt send any sms pics over edge. my friend has the same problem and is on her third phone.

I just realized this was for the cjh2 thread i thought it was for the cjh7 firmware which is what i got installed now

Get Market Access, install it and set your phone to emulate Verizon.

There is a new 2.1 firmware I897UCJH2 available from samsung-firmware.webs.com for the captivate.

I have not tried this yet but some people have on the xda forums and claim it has improvements.

Have to use Odin to flash it.

EDIT: New JH3 can be found from the same website

I just bought a new Captivate and my Firmware version is: 2.1 and the Baseband version is: I897UCJH7......so there might be even a newer version.
