Captivate, Froyo & Ram

I thought the upgrade to Froyo was supposed to enable Captivate users to use the full 512 megs or Ram that is in the phone? When I click on the built in task manager, it states 339 Megs. I'm a bit confused since they advertised that it has 512 Megs.

I thought the same thing when flashing my phone with a ROM, but it is actually system memory like the previous poster said.

ok, thanks for the info. I'm just happy I didn't mess something up and it SHOULD say 512. haha
