captivate lockscreen text removal

[JENE]

So when the phone is locked and you have a new message or missed called its specifies how to move the puzzle piece or swipe to unlock on the Samsung Captivate. Does anyone know how to remove the text on that so its says nothing?? I did an update to Gingerbread and on the Froyo it went away. Now it is still here. Help please

Simple is answer is change your lock screen. To change the text you would have to find the file inside the packaged app that contains it. Modify it without knowing if it could cause more issue/bugs by doing so is also not recommended.
