I just got a samsung captivate unlocked second hand. I managed to root it yesterday via OneClick and the phone is running 2.1update1.
as you all know, this OS sucks.
So I've been googling stuff and have loved the stuff I found ont his forum but I still don't know whether or not if I update the OS through Kies Mini if my phone will become locked to ATT again or will it remain unlocked
Does anyone know the answer to this? Will Kies mini do the trick to go from 2.1 to 2.2 (or even 2.3)?
