Help captivate sd card issue?

I purchased a Sandisk 32G micro SD card to put all my music on my captivate, so I don't have to carry a MP3 player with me.

Everything works fine - kinda.

I put in the card, did a format, and then put all my music on it (18G worth). Everything is wonderful - I can listen to my music, I can download stuff from wherever and store it on the card (from the phone), etc.

HOWEVER, once I do it, then the phone won't sync up to the computer. I'm forced to reformat the card, and start over - with the same results.

Anyone have any clues?
