Help Captivate video out question

Hello. I have the video out cable from amazon and maybe I'm doing something wrong. The red and yellow are reversed. When I plug the white and yellow into the audio ports on my TV I get sound but when I plug in the video, the captivate goes into the audio player mode. Is something wrong?

Sounds like your cable is just wired differently. If it can be made to work though I wouldn't worry about it.

Audio is OK, it's the video that's the problem. Is there maybe something else I need to do?

I tried the same thing, yellow being video. It didn't work. I read where someone suggested swapping red for yellow. I did that and it worked.
