A good app for youngsters is Multi Touch Paint. And just to stay on topic I'd mention that it runs well on either the Evo or the Captivate.

Me and my gf use paintjoy. Im 20 and idk, i love it.
Oh yeah, it works amazingly on captivate.

Yeah, I doodle quickly sometimes on my paint app on the Evo - and I'm often amazed at what I thought were random squiggles turn into when done and held at arm's length.
