Accessories Car charger compatible with Captivate?

I've got a couple of car chargers from an old Motorola RAZR phone. Will they be compatible with my new Captivate? I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't damage my new phone.

If they are MicroUSB chargers they will work. Just some may charge faster/slower than others.

The connection is a standard one.

IIRC no. I believe the RAZR is mini-USB while the Captivate is micro-USB. You might be able to find a converter, otherwise I picked up a car charger for ~$6 free shipping on Amazon.

Doh! You're right. I'm getting my Captivate today. I supposed I would have noticed this when I tried to actually plug it in...

I bought one of those USB inserts for the cigarette lighter from Walmart for a few dollars and I use that to charge my Captivate in the car if necessary. Works great.

I actually found some genuine Samsung car chargers on Amazon for less than $6 each with free shipping. Thanks for the tip though.
