Help Car Charger & GPS Question

In my car, I mounted my SF and am using a USB port charger and OEM cable to charge my SF. When I use Google Navigation, I noticed my battery drains and does not charge or hold the exisitng charge while using NAV. Does anyone know if an actual Car Charger for the SF will charge the SF while using Google NAV. It is quite annoying for the battery drain while plugged in just because I use the NAV. Yes a regular car charger will keep your phone charged while using Google Nav. I typically have My Fascinate playing tunes while Google navigation runs and it still charges with my car charger.

Don't use USB charger in the car, it will not be sufficient.

I use this too, great quality, price, and it works- no more of those cheap USB chargers that smell like burning wires.

Just to add to the info, my unrooted SF will not hold a charge using the purchased (expensive) Verizon car charger while running Trapster or Google Nav. It also gets much warmer than during any other use. I guess I'll try one of the above posted remedies.
