Car charger or Dock?

Hey guys. I just upgraded to the incredible2 from my Eris and so far I am totally in love with the new phone!
Sadly the incredible uses micro usb vs the Eris' mini usb, so my old car charger wont work anymore.

Any recommendations on a good quality charger or a car dock for this phone?
When I had my Eris, I originally had a bunch of cheap ebay chargers that failed one after another. Eventually I spend the 30$ (total ripp off) on a Verizon charger that worked well and was very reliable, but I dont know if i feel like spending another 30$ for a car charger for this phone.
 
I bought the car dock that VZW offers. It works perfectly and launches a "Car Mode" type app that isn't listed in the app drawer.

One thing to note, it covers the port to charge, but makes up for it by having a microUSB port in the back of the cradle that will charge.

For Car chargers, I buy a brand called "iGo" from radio shack. It's a charger that plugs into your cig lighter and has the ability to change heads. So instead of having 3 chargers for your phone, iPod and bluetooth, just change the charger head on the iGo. I'm not sure home much the cord runs for, but the heads are $10 I think.
 
Get this Amazon.com: OEM Male Micro USB to Female Mini USB Adapter (SKN6252) for Alltel Motorola Hint QA30: Cell Phones & Accessories . I came from a Razr and had a bunch of mini usb cables and chargers. I bought a few of these and both my mini usb chargers and data cables work perfectly on the Inc2.

Thanks for the tip! I ended up ordering one. It will come in handy not to have to carry another charger around if I want to plug something like my TomTom in. I just hope the build quality holds up over time.

I'll also be looking into the verizon dock, as I think thats a great idea.
 
I went with the verizon car mount. They advertise it can be used with your from facing camera. I guess you would place it in the window for that. I have it center console.
It even matches my interior.
But I must admit.. Not really liking the htc car panel.

On a side note, if you have insurance on your phone (any with mini usb) and you get a replacement, they are ALL Motorola RAZR chargers. They also replace the battery with a cheaper models battery (i.e. Motorola Droid 1, 2, Global all get Motorola Cliq batteries). I haven't researched, but I assume they are less mah. Unless you have a warranty replacement, then you get new accessories.

If they allowed it to be customizable, it wouldn't be so bad. I won't use most of the six items they put there.

Out of curiosity, how did you mount it? I know it's a windshield mount by default, but did you just use that mounting disc to mount it there?
