Accessories Car Dock causes random reboot??

When I use the Car Dock app manually or insert the handset into the dock, my phone completely shuts down and restarts after about 1-2 minutes. it will continuw to shut down and restart until i pull it out of the dock. WTF?! anybody have any sugestions.
