car mode?

For some strange reason my phone has started going into car mode how do i stop/disable this?

Car mode? You mean it has trouble starting, makes funny noises, batterys always flat and the radio dosn't work?

nope keep getting a little car icon in notification area then says phone has gone into car mode sounds odd but that is whats happening

1. Go to a homescreen where you have room for an icon.
2. Click the arrow on the bottom right to bring up the 'add to homescreen' menu
3. Choose 'Shortcut'
4. Choose 'Settings'
5. Choose 'Car Dock'. (I know I never knew this existed either.)

Once the icon appears on the screen, click it and un-check 'Auto Launch'.

mine just started doing this as well but only when I am charging it with an old Motorola charger I use sometimes with a micro usb adapter.
Had a look at that thread above guess it is the cheap adapter I am using
