Help Car mount question

I was thinking of getting the car mount. Question tho: If you're in gps and get a call and it takes out of gps, how in the world do you answer the call while driving (I guess speakerphone) but then the trouble to put it back into gps mode.

There's no way to makes sure you do not get any phone calls, right? Or no?

Your phone "saves" your route in case you receive a call or otherwise lose your data connection and will continue to give you directions while you're on a call as long as you stay on the original route.

If you take a call and then decide to get off at the next exit to find a gas station Google Navigation will say "data connection lost" or something similar until you hang up and it re-downloads your new route from your new position.

It's quite seamless, and it even gives the directions through your bluetooth headset while you're on the phone.

To answer the last question. No there is no way to not get a call. My wife has burnt me on this a few times when I needed directions. I yelled at her good. ;)

They make it a phone first, computer second.
