Any suggestions on a nice universal mount for the lte gnex? Prefer a friction (bean bag) mount, but will use a windshield type of it actually works. Looking under $30-$35. Thanx.

HOW HAVE I NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE?! Lol. Does it work with any cd player? I have an aftermarket JVC.
Damn, looks like its sold out everywhere.

I like that. I think I'll pick it up as a temporary mount until they release a GNex specific one.
Plus I can use it in each car with any of our phones. Nice find.
I'm going to buy one now. I can assume the ports at the bottom aren't blocked? Or do you turn it upside down (I hope not).
Good to know. I may have to shave it a bit.It does not block the charge port at all even with the small bottom piece (which is easily detachable btw) that supports the phone. It does however slightly block the headphone jack if the 3.5mm cable you use has a thick jacket. Mine that hooks to my aux port to my car stereo (I stream pandora and Google music) had a thick jacket so I just took a razor blade knife and shaved off enough rubber/plastic so it would slide in. Enjoy it I have!
This Arkon sticky suction mount is better than a bean bag. You can put it anywhere: dash, windshield, console; even your desk. The holder is easy to use and not hideously big; it's actually rather small.
Best of all, it's only EIGHTEEN DOLLARS.

This looks like the best of the bunch to me (the CD solution would block my clock/temp/radio display and vents), but can anyone confirm for me that the method for connecting to the dash is NOT permanent and does NOT leave a residue behind if/when removed? That seems almost too good to be true. This Arkon sticky suction mount is better than a bean bag. You can put it anywhere: dash, windshield, console; even your desk. It is NOT permanent. The suction cup is made out of similar material as the Clingo holders, so you get suction + sticky hold.
