car mount

I second that. It is really a great mount; I have it as well. It is a better mount than most designated GPS units have. It attaches very strongly to the glass or deck.
There are only two drawbacks that the OP has mentioned. I was able to get most of the column out of the camera way to broadcast the view from my car via Skype, but you can't avoid it completely, unfortunately.
 
why would the camera hole be blocked? the Revolution and esteem camera is in the exact same place. I have the Revolution battery cover on my esteem and it all lines up.

It will be blocked in Revolution as well. It is a design flaw of the mount. The attachment to the window interferes with the camera view.

You can record trips, or broadcast a trip to friend overseas via Skype. There is also a great Torque plugin which superimposes video on GPS coordinates on map, acceleration, speed and other stuff.

Doesn't look that stylish. Actually I paid around $15 for my LG Esteem mount. I hope Amazon will start selling it directly again. I want to get one for my second car. Till then, I will wait.
But let us know how good is the one you have ordered.
