Car Panel app

Go into your contacts and add them to the google favorites group. After this when you launch the Car Panel App you will be able to see them there.
 
Thanks!! That worked. If a contact has more than 1 phone number, are you able to select which phone number to call at that time?
 
The numbers displayed are only the ones designated as the primary number in your contacts. To change which one is the primary for a particular contact just go into the contact and press and hold the number you want to make the primary. Then when Action menu appears select "Set as primary number".
 
The car panel app is loaded on the TB from the factory, but if you don't use the car dock/mount, the app is hard to find. Using Googe on the TB, if you search for car dock, the app will appear. That's how I launch the app.
 
I didn't even know about this app until I loaded another rom on my phone which had a shortcut to it. I have since gone back to the rooted stock image. In order to launch the app I found this Car Mode App It is basically a launcher which can be used to launch the car mode. This works better than having to search for the app to launch it.

Any ideas how I could get this Car Panel app as a shortcut on a home screen?

I'm not rooted.
