Help Carrier specific apps

Is there a way to install carrier specific apps on other carrier phones? Sprint has a Nascar app that I liked when I had Sprint, but now I have TMobile.
I have a rooted nexus running stock jb.

In this case it is unlikely. My guess is that the app needs information that is on Sprint's servers to run properly -- so that even if you move the app it won't be able to access the information. I would imagine that Sprint has ensured that the app won't work on other carriers.
